Introduction
This project focuses on creating a keyboard that enhances user comfort and typing efficiency through ergonomic design principles.
features
Ergonomic Design: The “dance” keyboard is designed to reduce strain on the hands and wrists by splitting the keyboard into two halves and providing a more natural typing position. This reduces the need for excessive finger movement and minimizes the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
Customizable Layout: The keyboard offers a customizable key layout, meaning users can reassign keys to suit their preferences or optimize their workflow. It’s highly flexible, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
Open-Source Firmware: The keyboard’s firmware is open-source, allowing myself and other developers to modify and improve it, as well as create custom configurations.
Focus on Comfort and Efficiency: Overall, the “dance!” keyboard prioritizes user comfort with its ergonomic layout while maintaining efficiency through customizable features, making it ideal for those who spend long hours typing.
